Rockwater Secret Cove Wedding - Sunshine Coast, BC - Alanna + Brandon

When I think about what we do, I have moments when I really realize just how lucky we are. We get a front row seat to one of the best days of a couples life. We get to be with them more than anyone else that day, and we get to see everything! We see the nerves in the morning, the excitement of the first look, the emotion at the ceremony, the joy at the reception and all the moments in between. We see it all. And we've seen it all. Every combination of emotion/reaction to every moment of the day. And as far as seeing a couple right up close goes, watching Alanna + Brandon on their wedding day was one of the most fun 'front row seat' experiences we've ever had. 

These two are fuuuuuun. We fell in love with them when we first met them. We fell even harder when we created a film for their business a few months ago (watch here). And finally in creating their wedding film, we straight up fell over.

North Arm Farm Wedding - Pemberton, BC - Jess + Chris

We met Jess. We LOVED Jess. She told us we would love Chris (who was in London). We believed her. 
Fast forward to just before the wedding. We finally meet Chris. Jess did not lie. We do love Chris. 
Jess and Chris together are SO fun, super laid back and addicted to travel. They even incorproated travel into their wedding and came from their home in London to the little mountain town of Pemberton to get married (doesn't matter that Jess is technically from Vancouver... ) 
As their love for travel and adventure is so apparent in all they do and the fact that BC blessed them with the best weather we've had to date this year - I think travel loves them too :) We hope you enjoy their film!

Made By Pacific || Brand Story

Suprise! This is not a wedding film! 

While we (obviously) predominantly create wedding films, we have been doing commercial films as well for quite some time. We have always wanted to make it a bigger part of our work, but we've always been too busy! So this year we decided to MAKE time. We really wanted to create a film for a business that we were super interested in, tell a great story of the people behind it and just get creative with it!  So we called up Alanna.

We met Alanna and Brandon when they hired us to film their wedding! (next month actually - yay!) We found out about their business and were immediately so impressed with how stinkin hard they work and how AWESOME their stuff is. If you live in Vancouver, you've probably seen their stuff. Been to Tacofino? They reno'd it. Been to Meat and Bread? They make all the boards for it. You've likely seen their "Pacific" logo somewhere. (Formerly 'Pacific Design Lab' and/or 'Pacific Solutions Contracting') Also you must add Daren to the Alanna + Brandon equation to make it complete.

When we met up with them to make this film we didn't realize just how much fun we would have and how much more we would come to love this company! While we were all talking, Daren told us how everyone at Pacific is like a family. A lot of people say this but these guys live it. After two shoot days we truly felt like we were a part of this family, which made telling their story so much fun.

And with that... meet Pacific.

Sea To Sky Gondola Wedding - Squamish, BC - Candice-May + Christopher

For Maclean's birthday this year, we decided to go up the sea-to-sky gondola for the first time! This place is a must. see. A MUST SEE! Words cannot describe this view! Having spent my entire life driving the highway to Whistler, I had NO idea what I wasn't seeing! We invited some of our good friendsto come with us along with us - Shari and Mike Photographers and Jenna from Revel events (and Erica from Filosophi) and had SO much fun! Oh wait a second, my bad. Candice May and Chris invited all of us to come up because it was their wedding!

Either way this place blew my mind. Blew it right out of my head. And if you add to this view a gorgeous couple with a beautiful love story you get - one of my favorite wedding films yet. 

So happy birthday Maclean! Even though we were technically 'working', we got to witness something beautiful, create something amazing AND spend it with some of our favorite peeps. Pretty solid day.
