The Olympics & what not

First off I'm so glad that the bridal video I posted was so well received. After I blogged it, Jamie Delaine also blogged it and over the next few days It was viewed over 1,000 times! Awesome!
So as you all know the Olympics are going on right now in my fare city and it's been incredibly exciting. I've gone downtown a couple of times and the energy is amazing! The crowds are bonkers! A few days ago I had the opportunity to head up to Whistler. It was so awesome to just be up there and be in the thick of it all. Below are a couple of iPhone snap shots.

Soon I'll be posting some more videos. Lately I've been doing a lot of shooting for a handful of clients and I'll be posting about it as soon as I can. Also the upcoming wedding season is filling up fast and even the 2011 season so if you're getting married soon drop us an email!
PS The Oscars are coming up… if you haven't seen The Hurt Locker yet… do it now!

Christmas

So I'm looking at my calendar and it's only 3 days until 2010... 3 DAYS!?! Where did the time go? I trust you had a wonderful Christmas season. Mine was full of fellowship with friends and family and some amazing memories. I pretty much become a 10 year old around Christmas time. I inform everyone I come in contact with how many days are left until Christmas, I insist on watching every Christmas movie there is, and I love going downtown to see Christmas lights and do some shopping. I'm always a little down when the season is over, but I'm so excited for the new year. 2010 holds a lot of exciting stuff for Hello Tomorrow. Below is a glimpse of my Christmas with the family. I received a new lens for Christmas so I snapped a quick couple of photos. I'll be posting a new montage soon with my new lens for the Canon 7D. currently jamming to... PS If you haven't already seen Jason Reitman's new movie "Up In The Air" go see it!

Joshua and Bonny Jo

As I mentioned in the last blog post, I received my film school education this last year at Vancouver Film School. I met a lot of great people and made some life long friendships. One of the guys I was closest with over the year was Joshua. We had a chance to work on a ton of film projects together and had a lot of fun hanging out. Joshua came to Vancouver all the way from Texas and before he left Texas he got engaged to his beautiful fiance Bonny Jo. I had the pleasure of meeting Bonny when she came to visit Joshua. I couldn't believe how similar these two were. Seriously... incredibly similar. They'd laugh at the same jokes, finish each others sentences, and even used the same slang. Over my year with Joshua, we toyed around with the idea of me coming out to his wedding next april. We talked about it lightly for a while but as the year went on we decided to make it happen. So next april I'm flying out to film Joshua and Bonny's wedding and I couldn't be more pumped! Recently they went out with their photographer and did an engagement shoot. They have some really awesome pictures by the wonderful Tara Swain. Below are a couple of photos but see the rest of them on her blog here.

Beach Day

I'm looking outside and I am so pumped there is snow on the ground. I can't believe Christmas is only 11 days away! And then it's practically 2010 and the new wedding season will begin! I can't wait. 2010 will be a very exciting year... the Olympics, some amazing weddings and some exciting trips. I've been looking forward to the Christmas season for some time. I'm that guy who puts up his Christmas decorations and lights waaay too early. As soon as halloween is over I put them up. I can't help it I just love the season.

The recent snow fall has been a relief of some crummy rain. A few weeks ago the sun broke out and I decided to head to the beach and throw together a quick montage. I was mainly trying out some new lenses for my camera but I thought I'd post it for your viewing pleasure.
